Workshop Description
This 2 day intermediate level survey design course will build your capacity to plan and manage surveys. By the end of this workshop you should have a practical and comprehensive understanding of the overall survey process.Using a hands-on approach, you will learn how to plan a survey, choose an appropriate methodology, develop survey questions and apply sampling procedures. Through a series of case studies, you will also gain understanding about how to implement and manage a survey and an overview of analyzing and using the results of survey research.

This course is at the intermediate level and requires a basic understanding of evaluation terms and methodology. Completion of the CES Essential Skills Series, which is regularly offered by the Ontario Chapter, is highly recommended.

CES Member: $475 (plus HST $536.75)
Non-Member: $500 (plus HST $565.00)
Student CES Member: $225 (plus HST $254.25)*
Student Non-Member: $250 (plus HST $282.50)*
Cost includes all course materials plus a light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.

Facilitator 
Robert Wong
A veteran teacher, Robert Wong’s research experience includes a variety of marketing, social research and program evaluation projects. As past Co-ordinator of the Georgian College Research Analyst Program, he was responsible for the development, delivery and monitoring of this post- graduate program. Robert also conducts training, research and strategic planning through his company The Resource Management Consulting Group. Robert has been the principal researcher for over a hundred of research projects. He has facilitated research workshops and lectures in Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Germany.  Robert is a Fellow of the Marketing Research & Intelligence Association.
